We review tools independently, and every page says whether we tested it or read the documentation. If you buy through links on this site, we may earn a commission — it never changes what we recommend. How we test › · Disclosure ›
Prices go stale. This page shows you exactly how stale ours are.
Every comparison on this site carries the date its prices were last checked against the vendor’s own page. Those dates are printed on the articles themselves, but they are easy to miss and impossible to compare across pages — so this table collects all of them in one place.
It is generated from the articles, not maintained by hand. Each row reads the verification date out of the page it links to, so this list cannot quietly drift away from what the articles actually say. If a page’s price check is more than 90 days old, it is flagged here as due for re-verification — including when that is inconvenient for us.
“Page last edited” is the site’s own record of when the content changed, which is not the same thing: a page can be edited for a typo without its prices being re-checked, and a price check that finds no change does not always produce an edit. Read the middle column for freshness of the numbers, and the right column for freshness of the writing.
Found a number here that no longer matches the vendor’s page? Tell us — that is the fastest correction path there is. More about our evidence standards on how we test.
