GoHighLevel Pricing: Starter vs Unlimited vs Agency Pro

Last updated: September 9, 2026. Some links on this page are affiliate links — if you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we recommend. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

How we know: we have not run a GoHighLevel account ourselves. Everything here comes from GoHighLevel’s published pricing page and FAQ, checked on the date shown. We’d rather say that plainly than write this as if we’d used it.

Short answer

GoHighLevel has three real plans and one you have to talk to sales about. The number that actually decides which one you need isn’t the price — it’s how many client accounts you’re going to run. Starter is $97/mo for 3 sub-accounts, Unlimited is $297/mo for unlimited sub-accounts, and Agency Pro is $497/mo and adds the mechanism to resell GoHighLevel itself. All three include a 14-day free trial.

All three self-serve plans come with a 14-day free trial and full access to whichever tier you pick, so you can build a real funnel before paying anything. Billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel. Here’s what each tier actually includes, priced monthly.

PlanPriceSub-accountsBuilt for
Starter$97/mo3A single business owner or a brand-new agency
Unlimited (most popular)$297/moUnlimitedAn agency adding clients without the software cost climbing per client
Agency Pro$497/moUnlimitedReselling GoHighLevel itself as your own branded software
EnterpriseCustomCustomHigh-volume agencies, negotiated directly

Contacts and team-member seats are unlimited on every tier, including Starter — the thing that changes as you move up is how many separate client accounts (“sub-accounts”) you can manage, plus what you’re allowed to do with phone and email costs.

Starter vs. Unlimited: the question that actually matters

GoHighLevel’s own FAQ puts it plainly: the difference between the two lower tiers is sub-accounts, not features. Starter includes 3. Unlimited, as the name says, includes as many as you add. If you’re running your own single business through GoHighLevel — one CRM, one set of funnels, one calendar — three sub-accounts is more than enough, and Starter is $200/mo cheaper than Unlimited for identical core functionality.

Where this stops being simple: if you’re an agency and you sign a 4th client, you don’t get to add one sub-account at Starter’s price. You upgrade the whole account to Unlimited — a $200/mo jump the moment you cross from 3 clients to 4. GoHighLevel’s FAQ confirms upgrades are prorated for the remainder of the billing month, so the jump isn’t retroactive, but it is immediate.

What “unlimited” doesn’t cover

Every plan advertises unlimited contacts and unlimited users. Two categories are carved out of that and billed separately, on every tier:

  • Telecom and AI usage. Phone numbers, SMS, email sending volume, and premium AI features are usage-based add-on costs on top of the flat monthly fee — standard across this category of software, but worth budgeting for separately rather than assuming the sticker price is the whole bill.
  • Optional add-ons. HighLevel lists a long menu of these with fixed prices: HIPAA compliance ($297/mo), premium support ($500/mo), dedicated email IPs ($59/mo per IP), WordPress hosting (from $10/mo per site), white-label mobile app ($497/mo), and several others priced per sub-account. None of these are included by default at any tier, including Agency Pro.

The one place the math flips in your favor: on Unlimited and Agency Pro, you’re explicitly allowed to rebill those telecom and add-on costs to your own clients — with a markup, on Agency Pro. That’s the mechanism GoHighLevel’s SaaS Mode (available starting at Agency Pro, $497/mo) is built around: it turns the platform into a sellable product under your own brand, with client accounts and billing created automatically rather than set up by hand.

Two questions worth answering before you trial it

Are you buying it for yourself, or to resell?

If the answer is “for my own business,” Starter at $97/mo is the plan GoHighLevel itself points solo operators toward, and going in expecting to need more than 3 sub-accounts (you almost certainly won’t, as one business) is the most common way to overpay. If the answer is “to sell to clients,” the real decision isn’t Starter vs. Unlimited — it’s how many clients you expect to sign in the first few months, because crossing 3 means the $200/mo jump happens regardless of which day of the month you’re on.

Does month-to-month billing actually matter here?

GoHighLevel’s FAQ states there’s no long-term contract at any tier — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the dashboard at any time. That’s a real point in its favor if you’re testing whether an all-in-one platform is worth consolidating multiple existing subscriptions into, which is the pitch GoHighLevel’s own FAQ makes directly: CRM, funnel builder, email, appointment scheduling, and SMS tools replaced by one bill. Whether that consolidation is actually cheaper than what you’re currently paying across separate tools is the one number only you can run, since it depends entirely on what you’re paying today.

Frequently asked questions

Does GoHighLevel have a free plan?

No. All three self-serve plans (Starter, Unlimited, Agency Pro) come with a 14-day free trial and full feature access instead, and billing starts automatically once the trial ends unless you cancel.

What actually changes between Starter and Unlimited?

Sub-accounts, not features. Starter includes 3; Unlimited includes as many as you add. Contacts and team seats are unlimited on both. If you run one business through one account, Starter’s $200/mo saving over Unlimited is real money for identical core functionality.

Are telecom and AI costs included in the monthly price?

No. Phone numbers, SMS, email sending volume, and premium AI features are billed separately as usage-based add-ons on every tier, on top of the flat monthly fee.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. GoHighLevel’s own FAQ states there’s no contract at any tier — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the dashboard at any time. Upgrades are prorated for the remainder of the billing month.
