Systeme.io publishes its pricing openly on systeme.io/pricing, which is more than most SaaS pricing pages manage. But the table alone doesn’t tell you which line will actually force an upgrade, or that the plan’s own FAQ contradicts the plan’s own feature table. This page is the reference we wished existed before we tested it ourselves.

There is no coupon code field
We checked. On the Startup annual checkout page, the only fields are first name, last name, email, phone, an individual-or-company selector, billing address, and payment details (card or PayPal) — no promo or coupon code box anywhere in the flow. If a site tells you there’s a Systeme.io discount code, that’s not something you can enter on their own checkout page.
Where the pricing page contradicts its own FAQ
One inconsistency worth flagging, because we’d want to know about it before paying: Systeme.io’s own pricing-page FAQ states “Startup ($17/month): 5,000 contacts, unlimited funnels, 5 courses.” The feature table on the same page, immediately above that FAQ, lists Startup’s sales funnels as 10, not unlimited. We’re reporting the table — it’s the more detailed, itemized source — and flagging the FAQ text as the one to double-check inside your own account before you rely on it. Confirmed by direct comparison on September 3, 2026; screenshot both if you’re deciding based on this number.
What actually forces an upgrade
- The automation cap, not the contact limit. We hit this ourselves testing the free plan: 1 automation rule and 1 workflow is enough to prove a concept and not much more. Most free-plan users will outgrow this before they outgrow 2,000 contacts.
- Evergreen webinars are Webinar-tier-and-up only. Free and Startup don’t get them at any price point below $47/mo — a hard feature gate, not a soft limit.
- Free migration is Unlimited-only. If you’re moving from another platform and want Systeme.io to do the migration work, that perk starts at $97/mo (or $970/yr).
- Custom domains and funnel count scale together (1→3→10→unlimited domains, 3→10→50→unlimited funnels) — if you run more than a couple of funnels per domain, check both numbers, not just contacts.
